Track Bias, Barriers: The 1350m starts in a chute at the back of the course, a long straight run before the first turn allows all runners to gain their preferred positions. Leaders will often get into the finish but it is possible to finish on from well back in the field.
Weight & Statistics: Look for genuine Weight For Age competitors, but worth noting that younger horses with light weights also have a reasonable record. Six mares have won up to 2011, Fillies have been placed but are yet to record a win.
